Support for Single Parents
At A4e we recognise that being a parent is a full-time job in itself, and that you may need additional support to help you find employment.
Through our Elevate programme, we help single parents find suitable and lasting employment.
Our group sessions allow you to talk to other single parents about finding work, and share your personal experiences.
How A4e can support you:
- Sourcing childcare – we can help you find local, registered childcare providers
- Household budgeting – we can provide financial assistance to ensure your money goes further
- Flexible employment – we will source employment that fits around your role as a parent
- Confidence boosting, body language and assertiveness courses – we will show you the skills you have to offer as a parent and how to present this to potential employers
- In-work benefits calculations – we will sit down with you and work out how much extra money you will have when you’re off benefits and in employment
- Continuing in-work support – starting work, especially after a long period of time, can be a daunting experience. We will be on hand to support you as long as you need us.
We will go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy with the support you are given.
