It starts with 3 weeks of literacy & numeracy, and employability skills, and the rest is work placement training with local employers - that could lead to full time employment opportunities.”

The government has recently announced a white paper which includes a pledge that everyone under 25 in the area will be guaranteed a job, training or work experience after six months’ unemployment.”
